The Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) is making progress in the energy transition, with different paces and solutions for decarbonizing economies and meeting climate goals. Regional and cross-sector cooperation is essential, including joint work between Environment, Climate, Energy and Finance, and involving actors from different government entities, companies, financiers and other stakeholders.
Four seminars on Energy and Climate will be held in different countries, covering topics such as private investment, climate funds, carbon credits and a Lusophone roadmap for COP30. With the support of various organizations, they aim to debate climate finance and the energy transition.
